My projects

I spend a lot of time writing, recording and experimenting with sound. Not everything ends up as a finished release, and that is probably the part I enjoy most.

Some projects start with a guitar tone I want to build a song around. Others come from working with another musician, trying a new setup or simply seeing where an idea goes.

Here are a few things I’ve been working on lately.

Blackwood Sessions
A small collection of live studio recordings. Minimal editing, loud amps and as much of the original performance left intact as possible.

Northbound
An ongoing collaboration built around heavier guitars, melodic vocals and a slightly more modern production style.

Room 17 Demos
A series of unfinished songs and experiments recorded here in the studio. Some will probably become proper tracks. Some are better left exactly as they are.

I’m always more interested in making something that feels right than making everything sound perfect.
